The book is a selection of eight of Jorge Hernández de la Garza's projects ranging from a Cultural Center to a residential building. Hernández de la Garza is a young architect graduated from La Salle University of Mexico, who in 1999 won the prize for architectural composition Ing. Alberto J. Pani.
The composition of his works is based on a box that goes rotating and unfolding until achieving a formal exercise that goes according to the use and the characteristics of the user. The projects are accompanied by diagrams showing this exercise, in addition some of the photographs were taken by Hernández de la Garza which shows us his look and fixation for some details in his work. The selection is accompanied by an essay by Ernesto Betancourt that describes and analyzes each of the works.
